INITIAL TRAINING

Our Initial Training session is the first step toward creating a tailored plan for you and your dog. During this session, we’ll assess your dog’s behavior, discuss your goals, and develop a personalized strategy to address challenges and build a strong foundation for success.

Our Philosophy

Our Initial Training session is the first step toward creating a tailored plan for you and your dog. During this session, we’ll assess your dog’s behavior, discuss your goals, and develop a personalized strategy to address challenges and build a strong foundation for success.

Building trust and respect between you and your dog!

Our skilled trainers have a complete toolbox and will adjust techniques and tools for the individual dog and owner they work with. They are well-versed in using all four quadrants of operant conditioning during the training sessions.  Any trainer who limits themselves to just one style of training limits their own ability to grow but also jeopardizes their ability to help more dogs. Because dogs are just as unique as people, we all learn differently and at our own pace.

Our trainers have gone through and continue to attend seminars, workshops, and training courses, to continue to expand their knowledge in all things ‘DOGS’! Our trainers will guide our clients on the proper use of any tools used while their dog was in training.

Tools used include but are not limited to:

  • Food/Treat/ Rewards

  • Flat/Slip collars

  • Prong collars

  • Accountability professional grade remote collars

We only work with the safest and most dependable on the market
(E-Collar Technologies®, Dogtra®, Herm Sprenger®).
*Please hold off on purchasing any tools until speaking with your trainer.

Initial Training Session

The Initial Training Session is the starting point for any of our Board and Train and Behavioral Modification Programs. During this session, we will break down and address your dog’s behavioral issues, develop a customized plan to begin the process, and recommend a program that will be the best fit for you and your dog.

*This is a requirement*.

How it works

During this session, our trainers will evaluate your dog’s behavior and your goals, recommending the best program to fit your needs. Every dog is unique, with different genetics and learning speeds, and every owner has different expectations. We emphasize transparency and set realistic goals while preparing you for the changes needed at home. Training is a team effort between the owner, trainer, and dog.
