Our mission is to enhance the relationship between you and your dog by creating clear forms of communication through fair and balanced training. We want you to enjoy the dog of your dreams without compromising their quality of life and happiness because we understand they are ‘Family’. You and your dog deserve the best.

At Ohana K9 we believe a balanced approach is the best approach to dog training. Our training is enjoyable for the dog, trainer, and owner. We recognize each dog as an individual with their own needs, likes, struggles, and learning styles. Our primary goal is on developing a human/dog relationship built on respect, trust, and fairness. By creating lines of clear communication in a positive learning environment that will follow you long after your dog leaves our care. We provide structure, support, clarity, and consistency throughout training to help your dog understand our “language”. Because we are Balanced Trainers, we do not limit ourselves to only one method of training, nor do we limit ourselves to using certain training, tools, techniques, or rewards. We make training balanced, fun, and fair, using everything in our tool bag to our advantage and to achieve the best possible results. We will evaluate the dog, and the needs of the owner and implement a customized training plan.
Ohana K9 is strongly opposed to cruel or unnecessarily harsh training methods.
We Offer Customized Programs
At Ohana K9 we offer several Training programs. Your dog will live as part of our ‘Family’ for the entire time of their stay with us. We understand that owners want their dogs to be comfortable, loved, and safe while they are in training. Our exclusive Board and Train program only allows 3 dogs in training at a time. This allows dogs and trainers to establish trust, build a relationship, spend quality time training, and go on real-world outings. A happy dog is a fun dog to train.

Ohana K9 offers Private Lessons, Structured Day Training, Board and Train programs. Our
clients have access to boarding, private lessons, group
classes, Pups around Town, and the option for returning for a Refresher Course.

Our trainers will build a solid foundation through structure, clear
communication, and reward. We will provide the owner with the knowledge
and skills required to continue the dog’s training upon completing the program. We will not only focus on the
technical side but also on the importance of being a leader and how to create a
calm state of mind.

All of our Programs begin with an Initial Meet and Greet session. This is this perfect time to discuss your challenges, examine your dog's behavioral problems and develop a plan to help resolve them.

Raylynn at Ohana Dog Training was a miracle worker. My 8 year old rescue Jackson had major leash aggression, barking constantly and jumping our fence to wonder the neighborhood. Which is not the greatest when you are an 80 pound pit bull mix. We were either gonna be sued, he would be euthanized, or hit by a car. This was our only hope at keeping everyone safe and me sane. After the 4 week board and train Jackson is a different dog. Thanks to Raylynn I am also a strong pack leader and better able to communicate with Jackson in a way that he understands. Raylynn has been wonderful! We attempted every dog training tool and watched every YouTube video, but we still dreaded each walk with our pup, Juniper, knowing that it was going to be a stressful experience full of pulling, lunging, and barking at other dogs. After a few weeks with Raylynn, she was completely different and we were much better trained to make sure we were in control of the situation. 5/5 stars - highly recommended!
